World-Class Infrastructure

Our Three Strategic Manufacturing Hubs

NFIL operates state-of-the-art facilities equipped with flexible multi-purpose plants, advanced automation (DCS), and dedicated CDMO/GMP capabilities to manage complex fluorination processes safely.

Legacy Innovation & Specialty Fluorochemicals

  • The Blueprint: In operation since 1967; houses NRIC (our central R&D hub).
  • Key Distinction: Asia's oldest fluorine plant and the world’s largest producer of Boron Trifluoride (BF₃).
  • Eco-Footprint: Built like a green ecosystem with over 45% land under green cover (approx. 90,000 trees).
  • Active Horizon: Continuous capacity expansions and advanced automation upgrades for specialty lines.

Advanced Manufacturing & Global Scale

  • The Blueprint: Commissioned in 2022 across 73 acres; optimized for high-volume, next-generation global projects.
  • Key Distinction: Partnered with Honeywell to produce next-gen, low-GWP refrigerant molecules.
  • Value Chain: A new 45,000 MTPA HF plant is currently under commissioning to secure foundational raw materials.
  • Active Horizon: Expanding high-purity molecule manufacturing blocks and large-scale environmental utility lines.
  • Multipurpose Manufacturing: State-of-the-art 3 KTPA multipurpose facility designed for pharma and agro-intermediates, capable of handling a wide range of fluorinated and non-fluorinated unit processes.

High-Value & Contract Manufacturing (Navin Molecular)

  • The Blueprint: Our dedicated, GMP-certified CDMO and CRAMS business engine for global pharma and life sciences.
  • Key Distinction: EcoVadis Gold Medal recipient, placing NFIL in the top 5% of companies globally for sustainability.
  • Eco-Footprint: Fully operational Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) facility.
  • Active Horizon: Scaling dedicated blocks for low-volume, high-value specialty molecules.

Quality Mindset

Quality at NFIL is not just a function. It is a mindset embedded across every stage of our manufacturing ecosystem—from initial process design and scale-up through to final global delivery.

Explore Our Quality Systems

The Mechanics of Reliability

Our operations are governed by three continuous improvement disciplines that eliminate downtime, optimize cycles, and protect our workforce.

Process Safety Management

Process Safety Management

Safety is our operational bedrock. Our facilities are ISO 45001:2018 certified, featuring regular HAZOP studies, thermal risk assessments, and continuous frontline safety training.

Asset Reliability & Maintenance

Asset Reliability & Maintenance

We minimize downtime through disciplined work-permit procedures, real-time monitoring, and a rigorous, CMMS-driven predictive maintenance culture that ensures total mechanical integrity.

Lean & Digital Transformation

Lean & Digital Transformation

We leverage data analytics, process simulation platforms, and Six Sigma frameworks to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), compress cycle times, and guarantee first-time-right commercial scale-up.

Sustainability and Engineering Ecosystem

Every NFIL site runs a comprehensive, multi-stage environmental infrastructure system to ensure absolute regulatory compliance and resource conservation.

Effluent Treatment

Effluent Treatment (ETP)

Multi-stage physico-chemical, biological, and tertiary systems ensuring strict statutory discharge compliance.

Water Recovery (RO)

Water Recovery (RO)

Advanced PTRO units maximizing industrial water recovery, anchored by Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) at Dewas.

Evaporation Systems (MEE & ATFD)

Evaporation Systems (MEE & ATFD)

Specialized treatment and concentration of high-TDS effluents to dramatically lower wastewater volume.

Hazardous Waste Management

Hazardous Waste Management

High-temperature thermal destruction, co-processing as alternative fuel in cement kilns, and authorized TSDF disposal.

Air Emission Control

Air Emission Control

Thermal oxidizers destroy VOCs and fluorinated gases, paired with continuous automated emissions monitoring (CEMS).

Target 2030

Active progress toward our ultimate goal of a 30% carbon footprint reduction by 2030, anchored by 111,125 trees planted across our operations.
