NFIL has been in the fluorine chemistry business for over 40 years, producing bulk refrigerant and fluorinating agents such as HF, BF3 and metal-fluorides, such as KF, SbF5 and many others. Based on many customer suggestions and enquiries, NFIL had extended its fluorochemical and specialties business over the years. The more recent extensive growth plans of NFIL are backed by investments already made and committed for the future, including a state-of-the-art R&D center opened in 2008, followed by the commissioning of a new pilot plant, and near completion of a brand new multi-product/process plant for manufacturing. This expansion has positioned NFIL to become the most trusted and committed partner for all your fluorination and fluorospeciality compound needs.
To extend our capabilities even further, NFIL has started a CONTRACT RESEARCH division making us a full CRAMS (Contract Research and Manufacturing Service) provider. These research and early development activities are helping build confidence amongst our partners since we can be involved in facilitating research and development activities of their pipelines, along with addressing their needs to develop processes and supplies of fluoro-specialties.
Our contract research facilities can synthesize individual compounds, libraries, or scaffolds containing fluorine to meet your requirements. Our process development experts can easily take the process from lab scale to pilot, and then on to commercial scales in a timely fashion to exceed your specifications. We also provide custom synthesis and toll manufacturing from milligram and gram scale samples, to full multi-ton commercial quantities of your compounds.
Our expert team of chemists has over 100 years of cumulative experience in chemical synthesis. In addition, Ph.D. chemists in our team have expertise in process chemistry, medicinal chemistry, vapour phase and catalytic chemistry, fluorine chemistry, and the handling and use of various corrosive and hazardous fluorinating agents. Our team is always available to speak directly with our clients to discuss project details and new possibilities based on their years of experience dealing with various fluorine chemistry problems and solutions.
In process development projects, we listen carefully to your needs and provide detailed proposals tailored to your requirements. We have the flexibility to work independently or collaboratively with our clients on joint research projects.
Our development labs have been synthesizing many new and promising compounds and intermediates, including fluorine containing building blocks and compounds for pharmaceutical, agrochemical and electronic chemical pipeline needs of our partners.
