Custom Synthesis and contract research and development Services:
NFIL custom synthesis and manufacturing services team is comprised of experienced, reliable, and competitive members with decades of experience in the Fluorine compounds and fluorination business and relies on highly skilled and motivated employees.
Core Technologies:
In addition to fluorination and general organic chemistry (process and synthetic chemistry), our team is capable of carrying out any organic synthesis challenge/assignment involving chiral chemistry, moisture sensitive reactions, and other specialty requirements. However, our focus remains centered around our core fluorination-based expertise and technologies. These include:
Increasing needs of extending pipelines and new NCEs with fluorine in the molecule both for pharmaceutical and agrochemical applications are well understood by the scientific and discovery chemists worldwide. In order to address the need of manufacturing such compounds, one needs expertise and capabilities to handle the chemicals, processes and waste handling involved for such synthesis.
The NFIL contract research team provides exactly such support to our partners and customers not only in developing cost effective process chemistries for synthesizing such molecules, but also to develop many novel analogues and derivatives around the customer’s target molecules or building blocks to support research and discovery activities and expand IP protection for our partners. Once identified, NFIL can support the synthesis of these compounds from mg to multi-ton scale as an integrated service provider. Our expertise lies in synthesizing chemical entities containing fluorine of any structural complexity, including new ones. The NFIL research team puts a major thrust on R&D for new synthetic methodology.
Custom synthesis:
Custom synthesis of organic compounds for partners, including the synthesis of optically active compounds, is a key service for NFIL. Our contract research team scientists are capable, and actively engaged in developing novel and economically viable synthetic routes for target molecules provided, suggested and advised by our partners.

Over the years, NFIL has built up a team with very competent manufacturing and fluorine expertise. Using the same philosophy and spirit, the contract research and manufacturing services team has also been assembled, and is currently being further developed and enhanced. The NFIL team is a blend of the best minds available in industry today along with upcoming good, energetic scientific and engineering resources.
